Who we are
Syntex Technologies Ltd (“Syntex”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for this website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17122242, at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us at contact@syntexlabs.io.
The information we hold
We only process personal data if you choose to email us. When you contact us, we receive your email address, your name where you provide it, and the content of your message. We use this solely to read and respond to your enquiry.
Our website is delivered by a third-party hosting provider, which may record limited technical information such as IP addresses in its server logs for security and reliable delivery. We do not use that information to identify or profile visitors.
Why we can process it
We process enquiry emails on the basis of our legitimate interests, namely to receive and respond to partnership, licensing, and strategic enquiries. Where you have emailed us first, this also supports taking steps at your request.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as it is needed for the matter you contacted us about, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Correspondence that is no longer required is deleted.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. We may disclose information only where required by law, or to professional advisers acting under a duty of confidentiality.
International transfers
We aim to keep personal data within the UK. Where our email or hosting providers process data outside the UK, appropriate safeguards apply.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@syntexlabs.io.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can address it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk.
